Partner terms

What a business agrees to when it becomes a qurl partner: inviting new customers, the discount it may offer them, and how it is paid for introducing them.

Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between your business (the partner) and qurl, which is run from the United Kingdom. The first Owner to join your partner on qurl agrees to them on your business’s behalf and says they may. They sit beside the terms every account agrees to.

What a partner does

A partner invites new customers to qurl: schools, estate agents, restaurants, shops and any other business. Each invitation goes to one email address, carries a discount you choose inside the range qurl has set for you, and works once, for 30 days, to make one new workspace. An invitation never moves a customer who is already on qurl to you; if you introduced one some other way, tell us and we may attribute it to you by hand.

Your terms

The partner area shows your terms: the discount you may offer and for how many months, the share you earn of what a customer pays on each plan, and for how many months from their first payment. Each invitation keeps the terms in force when it was sent, so a change never alters a deal already offered or a commission already agreed. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before changing your terms for invitations you send after that.

How commission is worked out

  • It is your share of what a customer actually pays qurl, after the discount and before VAT, in whole pence, rounded down.
  • It is earned when an invoice is paid, never when someone signs up or starts a trial, and for as many months as your terms say.
  • If qurl credits or refunds an invoice, the same share comes off your next statement.
  • Nothing is earned on a workspace that anyone in your partner belongs to: buying your own plan through your own invitation isn’t an introduction.
  • Nothing is earned on invoices paid after the partnership ends.

Statements and payment

Each month qurl makes a statement of what you earned in the month before, which you can download from the partner area. You send qurl an invoice for it, and we pay it by bank transfer within 30 days of receiving it. A statement of nothing, or less, carries forward to the next. qurl doesn’t keep your bank details; they belong on your invoice. If you are registered for VAT, your invoice says so.

Inviting people

  • Only invite people who have asked to hear about qurl, at their work address. A sole trader counts as a person, so ask first.
  • Every invitation says you are a qurl partner and that qurl pays you for introducing them. Don’t hide it, and don’t promise anything the invitation doesn’t say.
  • Don’t present yourself as qurl, bid on qurl’s name in search advertising, or put an invitation’s link anywhere public: it is for the person it was sent to.
  • qurl sends your invitations from qurl.co, at most the number a day your terms allow, and stops any to an address that has asked for none.

What you see

For each customer you introduced: their organisation’s name and kind, when they joined, their plan and whether they are on trial, paying, lapsed or closing, their discount, and what they have paid, with your commission on each payment. You never see their codes, their scans or the people in their workspace, and qurl never shows you their figures.

Your account

Everyone in your partner signs in with two-step sign-in, or with their organisation’s account, because a partner’s account sends email from qurl.co and sees what several customers pay. Your Owners add and remove your people.

Pausing and ending

qurl may pause your invitations while we look into a complaint or a mistake, and tell you why. Either of us may end the partnership with 30 days’ notice, or at once if the other breaks these terms. Invitations you have already sent keep working, and their discounts stay with the customers who used them; your commission stops on invoices paid after the partnership ends, and we pay what you earned before then.

Data

What qurl keeps about invitations and about your people is on the privacy page. Use what you see in the partner area only to look after the customers you introduced and your account with qurl.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will email your Owners at least 30 days before, and the date below changes. An Owner agrees to the new terms in the partner area before your next invitation goes out.

These terms are dated 27 October 2026.
